Brief Answer:
Multidisciplinary hospital...

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

This upper back pain may or may not be related to her previous back illness. However in presence of previous spondylitis, she needs an orthopedic evaluation which will also involve battery of blood tests - blood count, ESR, calcium, vitamin D, TSH and X-ray / MRI scan of the back.

I am not aware of experienced orthopedician around that part of country. Therefore I will suggest that she visits one of the well known mulitidisciplinary hospital such as Tata Main Hospital and consults an orthopedic surgeon.

Hope this answers your question.

Regards
