Question: I'm having some pain especially when coughing or sneezing at my right upper abdomen (near my belly button)

Such symptom can be a sign of hernia located in the umbilicus or close to it. Especially if the pain also appears when pushing hard on stool or lifting heavy objects. There might be lump visible in this area, however lack of it does not rule the hernia out.
I suggest you to consult your doctor and have abdominal ultrasound done. This should tell if there is any hernia in the painful area or not.
