Suggest Treatment For Tonsilitis

Question: Dear doctor

Today i have a sore throat and something that hurt me in the throat when i sput it comes with little blood is there anyway to treat it also should i worry about it

Hi

I read your query and I understand your concerns.

You seem to be suffering from tonsillitis. Any hard food might cause injury to blood vessels around inflamed tonsils.

If bleeding is little done worry about it. But if this episode repeats please see an ENT surgeon and get your tonsils examined.

Try having soft food for next few days and swallow slowly.
