Brief Answer: Sure,we help you.need some history. Detailed Answer: Hi there, Thanks for writing us, Am here to help you out, I understand your problem and it is been there for 3 days, I just want to know some history from your side, Have you experienced this kind of symptoms previously. Are you on any medications/change in dosage right now. Are there any severe stress related events recently. As your complaints are not specific to any serious organic pathology, I would have to name lots of possibilities as differential diagnosis. Therefore a little more history and details will help me arrive a conclusion. Dr.surendiran g

I have been under a lot of stress and I was diagnosed with anxiety symptoms in September when my career changed a little. We went out of the country on vacation and there was a lot of alcohol consumed. A week and a half ago when we got back I had several nights out of town on business, then I drank too much last friday night. I was fine the next day and had to work out of town, but I had only gotten four hours of sleep that night. I drank a 5 hour energy drink and 4 hours later I suddenly got really confused and extremely exhausted. I still had a 3 hour drive to get home. For a while it was difficult to speak at all. I drank another 5 hour energy drink and kind of snapped out of it a little and was able to drive home, praying all the way. I slept a lot the next day and left to work out of town, but this time I got a hotel. I went to be at a decent hour that night and got up feeling ok, I went to eat breakfast and all I wanted to do was sleep so I went back to the room and slept for an hour. I got up and went to work and I started to get really confused. I started the drive home and I started to panic and wondered if my blood sugar was high, I felt nausea and really jittery with chills. I started to feel better after driving a little bit. By the time I got home I felt pretty good and I told my wife I will never drink again. Yesterday, I stayed in bed most of the day. I would sleep and wake up and feel ok, then get a headache if I got up and felt like sleeping again. Today, I just feel kind of weird, mild stomach pain, no confusion yet, but if haven't really tried to do anything besides type this letter.

Brief Answer: Stress, lack of sleep, alcohol hang over. Detailed Answer: Hello there, Nice to see you again, sorry for delayed response. I have gone through your query. I came to know that you are deprived of sleep and having less than an average individual sleep pattern [less than 6 hours] and have been on heavy alcohol for quite few days. The symptoms you are experiencing are due to lack of rest and hang over caused by the consumption of heavy alcohol. Do a fasting and post prandial (2 hours after meal) blood sugar level, as you worried of diabetes. Just try to have an antacid syrup, which relieves of your stomach ache [probable gastritis]. First understand that you are completely normal, take a vacation and have good sleep and spend some time with your loved ones, but do not binge on alcohol. Eat healthy food, avoid junks and have plenty of water. Hope helped you, Thank you. Dr.surendiran.g

Brief Answer: psychiatrist counselling, yoga, meditation. Detailed Answer: Hello there, i read your query. Am really happy to know that you are not on any alcohol for past 5 days. Do not worry a lot, you are just 30 years old and there is world a head to have in your life, try to meditate and relax by doing yoga. Keep this taught that you are alright and speak freely with your family members. Spend some time for your family, as I said already try to take a vacation and spend some time with them. Try to have an appointment with a psychiatrist and get counselled if you are still worried and confused, Take care. Dr.surendiran.g
