Brief Answer:
Uncontrolled diabetes, need to start and refix the dose of inulin

Detailed Answer:
Dear friend,
Greetings from HCM,

I have seen the reports. Yes she needs to see the eye specialist.

Your mother is uncontrolled diabetic.
I suggest that you meet the doctor and get the prescription for required insulin dose and insulin sensitizers.
In addition she needs fundus check soon as she is suffering from diabetic retinopathy too. We need to see in which stage of diabetic retinopathy she is in now.
She needs to take care of her nutrition and exercise as lifestyle changes are the most important in managing the sugar levels. She needs to avoid taking too much of carbohydrates, take more of protein and fiber rich food stuff. Give her 4 small parts of meals in between 2 snacks. You can give hermore of egg white, fish, sprouts, milets, green leafy vegetables, fruits . She need to walk at least an hour a day, practicing yoga and meditation helps. Use of garlic, turmeric, tamarind helps.
Keep a record of her fasting and post-prandial sugar levels post lunch and post dinner for a period of 10 days at home by using a glucometer.
The treating doctor will fix the dose of insulin.
Vitamin supplements especially vitamin D brings the insulin resistance down but take the final opinion of your treating doctor.
She must be under regular check up and all the investigations every 3 months till the sugar levels are normal. Need to check thyroid hormone levels and micro-albuminuria too.

Kindly feel free to ask more questions.
Thanks
