Brief Answer:
Why not try hypnotherapy?

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXX,

Since you've probably been around and figured out different standard cures and palliations to tinnitus, let me suggest an alternative. There may be different ways of dealing with tinnitus, but dealing with it in a way that accedes to yourself as "It's a lifelong chore to deal with this issue", will not get you anywhere good.

I wish to inform you of a branch of medical science called as hypnosis, that is being used by doctors to ease the pain of deliveries of babies, right upto the cure of tinnitus.

I would not make any false assuarances since hypnosis does not work on all people.

I strongly suggest that you try this. Among all you other options this is the only "medical and scientific" one. We both know all the other therapies for tinnitus.

Regards,
Dr. Neel Kudchadkar

Brief Answer:
There are. not "is". cures, ... that is.

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXX,

Some diseases are "acute". If they take place < 6 months; and can be "managed".
Some diseases are "chronic". If they take place > 6 months; and need long term "management".

Tinnitus is a long term proposition. Of course, if autohypnotic suggestion were to give you relief, and peace of mind, would you not say it is close to being a "cure"?
