Suggest Treatment For Tingling Sensation On The Foreskin

Question: Appear to have contracted Balanitis after an ill judged encounter whilst on holiday. Got an anti biotic from pharmacist and treated with a miconazole nitrate content. Getting recurring bits of 'evidence' under foreskin and aa bit of a tingling sensation within the foreskin. Should I repeat the process or undergo further investigation ?

Thanks for your query,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have acquired infection of Foreskin and Glans Penis (Ballano-Posthatitis).

I shall be happy if you can post me few more details to help me in making comments on your problem.
1) Was it a unprotected sex ?
2)Was woman known to you especially about her STD status?
3) Do you have Urethral Discharge ?
4) Do you have urinary symptoms like burning ,frequency etc?
5) Are you diabetic?

Mostly you have acquired infection of Foreskin and Glans Penis .
Get following basic test done to confirm the diagnosis.
1) Urine test
2) Swab test and Culture of a discharge from either foreskin or Glans penis .
3) Basic Screening tests for STD and HIV.
4) Blood Sugar levels to rule out Diabetes.

You need to take broad spectrum antibiotic like Cefixime along with anti inflammatory drug like Diclofenac twice daily.along with topical antibiotic ointment like Neosporin twice daily.

Ensure to wash your genitals with warm water twice daily.

Ensure to avoid sexual encounters till it heals up completely.

Further treatment will depend upon result of these tests and culture report.
