Brief Answer:
Getting a quick medical exam is easy and comforting

Detailed Answer:
Good afternoon. Thank you for your question on a tingling sensation in the right ear extending to the right neck and lower right jaw.

More likely than not there is probably nothing to be overly concerned about. Things that come to mind with this sort of symptom could be an ear infection which is in its beginning stages suggesting that an ear canal and drum assessment would be in order.

Also, there is the possibility of a small entrapped twig of a nerve involving one of the terminal branches or the trigeminal nerve. This type of situation is usually transient and self limited (takes care of itself) but nonetheless can be annoying. Sometimes a gentle massage can reduce or remove the symptoms.

And in my top 4 list of things that I would check with these symptoms would be what we refer to as a peripheral neuropathy. I would check the following blood work:

1. Thyroid hormones (FT4, TSH)
2. Vitamin B12, Vitamin D, Hemoglobin A1C
3. Total and free Testosterone levels
4. ESR, C-reactive protein

Word of caution....if you find that chewing your food starts to really fatigue or cause achiness in your jaw and face on the right side or if you develop problems with vision that are unusual as in sudden blurring or anything else on the right side then, do see a doctor right away because then, a more complex exam and testing needs to be done.

If I've satisfactorily addressed your question then, could you do me the kindest of favors by CLOSING THIS QUERY and be sure to include some fine words of feedback and a 5 STAR rating to our transaction if you feel the response has helped you? Again, many thanks for posing your question.
