Brief Answer:
Elevation and active toe movements will help.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for your query.

I'm Dr. Sudhir Kumar,

After going through your query I concluded that you have got injury to your feet nearly one week ago and it seems to be soft tissue injury however you can rule out fracture by x-ray. You feel throbbing pain after long hours on your feet also planter flex your foot and it is better with rest. Its cause is long dependency (keeping limb lower) increase swelling and edema felt as throbbing and on rest swelling and edema decrease.

Its treatment is rest, analgesic such as ibuprofen (mortin which you are already taking), elevation of limb on pillow during sleep and resting period and active ankle and toe movements (exercises). Avoid it keeping dependent (lowered) as far as possible.

If pain persists then better visit an ER or a primary doctor.

Hope I have answered your query.
If you have any further questions I will be happy to help.
