Question: I've had irregular bleeding for 6 months. I had a vaginal ultrasound performed and stated that I had thickened endometrium, with tiny cystic areas . Endometrium measures 18mm. Two cysts in the left ovary and a fibroid on the rt side of the myometrium. Would this be caused from cancer ?

Brief Answer:
A biopsy will rule out cancer.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.

The bleeding that you have seems to be due to thickened endometrium. The cysts in ovary and fibroid are likely to be benign. The thickened endometrium needs a biopsy to rule out any malignancy.
Please get a D&C and biopsy done to rule out any cancer.

Please feel free to discuss further. I will be glad to answer the follow-up queries that you have.
Wishing you good health.

Regards.
