Suggest Treatment For Tenderness Near The Nostril

Question: the area around my nostril felt tender (Thursday morning) and by the end of the day it was red with 2 clear bumps,by the next day it doubled in size to about the size of a dime. now (3days after)the skin is slightly raised,red and has yellow scabbing in small places.its not spred but almost perfectly round. not tender or sore it just itches every now and then. I feel it could be something from the gym.

I have undergone through your query and understand your concern

I have seen your attached photograph.
Your symptoms look like infection.
This type of the infection most commonly by the bacteria staphylococcus infection.
You have to take following treatment:
Tablet ampicillin and cloxacillin two times a day for 5 days. This is a prescription medicine.
Local application of the Bactroban Ointment.
Maintain the proper hygiene as infection may spread to face, nose and hand.
Contact your primary physicain to share may idea and take prescribed drugs.
