Question: I seem to make others itch aggressively and cough when they are around me. This has been happening for a few years so as odd as it seems it is true. I have trouble breathing and bad breath. I feel ill most of the time and have inflammation throughout my body. I have skin irritations, muscle twitching. I used to ache have chills and night sweats but that has subsided about a year ago. I felt like I had a constant flue. I have stomach issues and I'm loosing weight. I have extremely dry skin. I don't have any answers. I have taken multiple rounds of steroids and antibiotics. I has asthma and if I take my steroid inhaler I get a bad taste in mouth and my breath gets worse. Nothing seems to help. What could this be?

Brief Answer:
Your all symptoms are due to uncontrolled asthma and flux-disease/232326?iL=true" >GERD.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic.
I can understand your concern.
You are not having controlled asthma. This is mostly due to recurrent viral infection, persistent allergy and GERD.
All three make your asthma uncontrolled and cause you symptoms all the time.
Best treatment of allergy is identification of allergen and if possible complete avoidance of it. So avoid dust, pollens, mites, animal fur, smoke etc.
Wear mask everytime you go outside.
For recurrent viral infection, you should get done flu vaccination annually.
For asthma control, better to consult pulmonologist and get done
1. Clinical examination of respiratory system
2. PFT (Pulmonary Function Test).
PFT will also tell you about severity of the disease. And treatment of asthma is based on severity only.
You should start combination of inhaled bronchodilators and inhaled corticosteroid. Oral combination of antihistamine and anti allergic drugs are also useful in your case.
Please let me know
1. Have you ever undergone flu vaccination?
2. Have you ever undergone PFT?
Please reply me answers of above asked questions, so that I can guide you better. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.

I had a PTF test done and i was told that i had or still have a assume upper bronch inflimmation. Im going for a chest x-ray next week although it feels like my throat is constricted too. I had problems with my stomach so I had an endoscopy and colonoscopy. It showed i had flux-disease/232326?iL=true" >GERD like symptons not due to HPyloric. I have not had a Flu shot in about 10 years. I feel that my breathing is reastricted and i am overcompensating and forcing contents from stomach and possibly bowel up my esoph causing further damage. Steroids and antibiotics seem to make things worse everytime. Could i have a fungi infection in my lungs, stomach or both that has seeped into my system over time although as rare as this i. My skin has changed dramatically in the last few years. i have nerve issues, muscle twitches, im allergic to almost everything now. My breath actually smells like mold or dirty wet socks. I was in a very moldy apartment a few years ago and have had these issues but now worse than before. I'm loosing hope. XXXX

I had an x-ray a year ago which was negative. I have one scheduled monday dec. 28th. When i have trouble breathing it feels like pressure, gas is building up in my chest. I feel the gas bubbles, sometimes i can press on my chest and the gas will come out through normal means. Other times it feels trapped at that time breathing really difficult and breath smells. My muscles feel like ive been working out and it is hard to concentrate all while i get a funny taste in my mouth. Could this be a form of acidosis?
