Brief Answer:
gastroesophageal reflux disease

Detailed Answer:
Hello and Welcome

I appreciate your concern

The description you provided is most commonly observed in GERD which is gastroesophageal reflux disease. PPIs like esomeprazole along with pro kinetics such as itopride or domeperidone can be advised for two weeks, in consultation with your doctor. Most likely the symptoms will improve. If there is associated pain with this burning sensation then an ultrasound abdomen can be done to look for possible gall stones leading to cholelithiasis.

Wishing you best of health

Thank you for the response.

Some clarification on my symptoms:

- it is not painful or acid-feeling
- it is simply a sensation of warm liquid on a temporary period

I do not appear to have the other Gerd symptoms.

Any other theories?

I am worried about aneurism due to my genetic tendencies and high blood pressure.

Brief Answer:
Explained

Detailed Answer:
Hello again.

Abdominal aortic aneurysm is a possibility in men more than 65 years and those with peripheral atherosclerosis. However, AAA is usually asymptomatic i.e it doesn't cause any pain or fullness or burning sensations unless there is expansion or rupture which can lead to sudden and severe abdominal and lower back pain. Clinically the presence of a pulsatile abdominal mass can point towards the possibility of an aneurysm. An ultrasound of the abdomen can easily detect an abdominal aortic aneurysm, if you are worried. If the scan is normal then you can relax. High blood pressure and family history of aortic aneurysm does increase the possibility. Smoking, Obesity and Diabetes are also risk factors for the same. EKG , lipid profile and blood pressure should be checked for in the same setting.

Wishing you best of health
