Brief Answer:
Suspected superficial leg vein thrombosis

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for your query. I can understand your concerns.

It seems you have superficial leg vein thrombosis .
You have pain & tenderness localized to the site of the thrombus.
It occurs in varicose veins, and may develop in association with deep venous thrombosis (DVT).Examination is needed.

Treatment is primarily supportive with leg elevation and application of warm compresses.
Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs may provide analgesia .

Since you have family history of DVT,Venous Doppler study of both lower limbs and coagulation profiles including protein C, or protein S; anti-phospholipid antibodies are advisable
