Suggest Treatment For Swollen Lymph Nodes And High White Blood Cell Count

Question: I went to emergency a couple days ago with what I thought was a blocked bowel. I was in server pain in my upper abdomen area. The X-rays showed some gas blockage and I was given an enema which relieved the pain instantly. However, the blood work also showed high white blood cell count, so I was sent for a Ct scan. The scan showed 4 large lymph nodes (2 were 6cm) by my lower aorta. They sent me back to the original doctor and he told me he was very sure I have some form of cancer. Most likely lymphoma. I was told to go to another doctor specializing in cancer. 1 day later I woke up with severe gout in my Rt ankle.
Could the gout be the cause of my swollen lymphnodes and high white blood count instead of cancer?

I was traveling to Canada the day this all happened. I had an empty stomach and had eaten a large steak when I arrived at my destination. All making sense that it was the reason for my gout flare up the next day and supposed bowel blockage at the time I went to emergency.
Now that I'm back on the USA, with limited insurance, I'm hoping this cancer scare is gout related!!

Brief Answer:
Hello. It may be lymphoma

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear. I have gone through the details. So enlarged lymph nodes may be due to lymphoma. Gout doesnot cause enlarged nodes in abdomen. It may cause high wbc counts.
Other causes of enlarged nodes can be infection. I need to see the report of scan so that i can tell You more details.
You need not to worry as even lymphoma is also a highly curable disease.

But is it possible to have enlarged lymph nodes on the lower aorta 2 days before having a severe gout attack/ infection. Maybe this isn't even gout flare ups, maybe these flare ups are more cancer related then gout?? Thoughts

Brief Answer:
Hello dear. Yes it is possible

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear.

It is quite possible to have these nodes prior to attack.

In my opinion, if the nodes do not settle after a course of antibiotics, then go for a needle biopsy test to reach a diagnosis.

Thanks and regards
