Suggest Treatment For Swollen Legs With Cramps
Question: My husband is 48 years old and 6'4" and weighs 350. And has started experiencing extreme cramps in his legs! Every morning he can't even walk for probably 30 minutes! Both legs are swollen but one is swollen so large that the skin is shiny and very taut and his foot is equally as swollen and the ends of his toes are purple!
He barely can curl his toes under! The last dr. Visit we had the doc said he was borderline diabetic and he has lost a good 15 to 20 pounds since then! The doc said the only thing wrong with him was a little elevated blood pressure and gave him a high blood pressure pill! He took it about a month and then quit! He has intense foot pain if I haven't mentioned that! The most swollen leg appears that it may burst at any moment! Please give me some indication of what this can be?? I am afraid he is actually suffering from diabetic leg & foot pains! But like I said the doctor did not say he has diabetes but, this has been maybe 3 months ago! I appreciate any help you may be able to suggest!! Sorry so lengthy but I wanted to give you an overall view of his situation!!
Sincerely,
XXXX
