You should have gone in for a foot X-ray, as sometimes, there can be very tiny fractures. Even if a fracture did not take place, the affected foot should be placed in elastocrepe bandage, or in severe cases, in plaster, to avoid movement and further deterioration. Please visit an orthopedic surgeon urgently.

Thank you for your appreciation

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX

I hope you went to a bone surgeon and got your ankle checked by him. Did they recommend an X-ray? Did they put a bandage on the leg? Or plaster? I will be pleased to address any specific query related to the same. Thank you.
