conjunctivitis

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Welcome to Healthcare magic

I am Dr. Dadapeer.K, Ophthalmologist answering your query

It looks like you are suffering from conjunctivitis. It is advisable to continue moxicip eye drops. Itching and redness will be there for 4-5 five days. Usually it is self limiting.

If there is associated itching, advisable to use antiallergic eye drops like olopatadine.

Hope I answered your query

Thanks

Brief Answer:
Antibiotics eye drops are required.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thank you for the follow up question.

Please find answers for your questions.
1. The dosage of antibiotic eye drops depends on the severity of infection. The normal routine dosage is one drop every 2-3 hours during day time.
2. You can use it 2-4 times a day for the other normal eye to prevent spread of infection to it.
3.You can go to sunlight, cold.... no problem will occur.
4.The precautions to be taken are to avoid close contact with others, use of separate kerchiefs, bed sheets..
5.You can use computer no problem.

The infection will take 4-7 days for complete cure with treatment, in between if it becomes severe or if you develop pain, blurred vision.... you need to consult your ophthalmologist .

Hope the information is helpful to you.

Thank you
