Brief Answer:
single kidney with swelling can be a marker of kidney disease

Detailed Answer:

Hi XXXXXXX
Single kidney with swelling of legs can be a part of kidney disease. but we know swelling over body can occur from other problems also

like-

Heart disease,
lack of proteins and
liver disease

You should meet your doctor and get some basic tests done-

Serum creatinine, Urine routine, Serum Albumin levels. these will help rule out any kidney disease and then you can go for ultrasound abdomen and echo if needed.

meanwhile try to decrease your liquid intake so that you do not accumulate more water in the body. In any case if you are feeling breatless or your urine output is very less you should report to emergency room.

in case of any further query or if you get the reports you can write-in again
Best wishes
