Posted on Sat, 18 Feb 2017
Question: 10 year old with swelling on the left side of the jaw. No abscesses can be seen in jaw or teeth with a pan or a 3 D. Swelling is larger than a 1 inch by inch and has gotten larger over a week even with Amoxicillin bid for 5 days. Sore when swallows, but no pus on tonsils. Doing CAT and Ultrasound + blood work. Doctor said she did not feel it was CA because she found no other knots.

Brief Answer:
Please upload an image.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

I have gone carefully through the query. I would insist you to upload an image of the swelling. The specifics of the swelling will help me estimate the underlying causes. Unless it is rapidly growing in size, you need not worry about cancer.

You can simply upload/attach it at the reports section of this web-page.

I would await your response.
