Brief Answer:
I suggest oral and topical antibiotics for a week

Detailed Answer:
Hello. Thank you for writing to us

I am dr.kakkar (dermatologist). I have gone through your query and I have viewed the image.
The area seems to have developed infection.
I would suggest a course of an oral antibiotic e.g Moxclav tab. 1gm twice daily for a week.
Topically she may use an antibacterial cream e.g T-Bact cream, twice daily.
If the area is painful, she may also take an oral antiinflammatory e.g ibuprofen 400mg tablet, twice daily.
Once the infection starts resolving, swelling and pain would start to come down.

Brief Answer:
Oral antibiotic to take care of possible infection

Detailed Answer:
Hi.

Diabetes patients are more prone to infection. May be this is the reason she has probably developed infection at the site of procedure.
Tab. Combiflam is fine. It would help reduce pain and swelling but I would also suggest a course of an Oral antibiotic i.e Moxclav 1gm, twice daily.
Topically she may use T- Bact cream, twice daily.
