Brief Answer:
anti inflammatory pain killers would help

Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Trauma would potentially cause damage to any of the soft or bony tissue. It would result in pain, tenderness and swelling.

Soft tissue would include any muscles, tendons, vessels in the area.

In addition to the use of the ice, you may want to consider the following:(1) using an anti inflammatory pain killer such as ibuprofen, naproxen or cataflam
These would reduce the swelling and pain

(2)clean any visible wounds with a mild antiseptic to prevent any infection

(3)elevate if possible, this would reduce swelling

(4)if you have a bandage to apply to the area, this would also help with the swelling

If the swelling and pain are severe, it would be best to refrain from boxing for a few days.
As you continue with your boxing, you may not experience any significant trauma .

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
