Brief Answer: May be pulpal pressure better go for root canal Detailed Answer: Hello, XXXX Thank you for asking your query with us. This is Dr. Dipti Singh here to answer your query. Actually stress causes development of pressure inside the pulp (blood supply) of the tooth, but when a tooth is normal this pressure will not cause any severe problem. But if the tooth is slightly infected also it causes severe pain, in that case a root canal treatment should be done of the tooth, as it will solve the problem and does not cause any further pain.
