Brief Answer:
yes, it can be due to stress; try deep breathing

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

From your previous query it is apparent that there is significant stress in your life from past one month. There is recent appearnace of chest symptoms without any rise in blood pressure or pulse. Your gynac asked to rule out cardiac cause.

I think the reason can be stress as that can produce acidity and then reflux which can lead to epigastrium or left chest pain as well. It can also give rise to palpitations and restlessness and prespiration.

You are far from home, it will be ok if you try taking medicine for acidity like pantoperazole 40mg and an anti anxiety like clonazepam 0.5mg...see if that helps you.

Cardiac factor can be ruled out by a simple ekg test. If there is something in ekg then one might need to get other cardiac tests.

So,if there are constraints, you may simply take anti anxiety for now and if the symptoms reappear or dont go away with it- get ekg.

Keep some company or let your friends be aware of your condition.

An anxiety related symptom sometimes also gets better with deep breathing..try to do it for 5-10 min. It will help.

good luck!
