Suggest Treatment For Stomach Worms

Question: Hello doctor I am XXXX 25 years old..I have stomach worms problem...2 months back I have taken Mebex tablet for 3 days but again I am facing same problem...please let me know good tablet to get rid of this problem..I face itching around solid excertion place..please suggest me some good tablet to get rid of this stomach worms problem...

Hello doctor thanks for the reply...rarely I see worms...stool test is not done...yes itching is the only problem...

Itching in the anal region is not always due to worms.
There are many different causes for it.

A thorough examination of the anal region should be done.
Skin lesions around the anal opening can cause itching.
The other causes include piles, candidiasis, diabetes etc. The treatment depends on the cause.
The most common cause however is certain diet ( coffee, chocolate, milk and beer). You can avoid them and see if there is improvement.
Get a stool analysis done. Take a single dose of Albendazole.
Avoid rubbing the anal area.
