Question: Hi,
I had a good infection couple of days ago for I am still on medication of Cyclopam, Rifagut and Sporlac tabs..

but I still feel there some precautions to be taken.. please advise to keep my gut healthy..

I would like to advise you following

have plenty of fluids including ORS and fruit juices
avoid fatty fried spicy junk food and carbonated drinks
have plenty of dietary fibers like Isabgol husk 2 teaspoon with lukewarm water or milk
have whole grains which will increase the bowel content and cleanse the intestine
you can take curd and buttermilk for an healthy stomach

practice yoga like abdominal exercise as Kapalbhati to strengthen abdominal muscles and Gastrointestinal system as a whole

Almost every fruit is good for a healthy gut. Juices can be avoided for sometime.
It should be used after proper washing it under running water as well as washing your hands with an antiseptic soap and water

I would advise you to take citrus fruits, papaya, watermelon, banana, guava and grapes

does these tablets cause acidity Cyclopam, Rifagut and Sporlac ds tabs.. coz I am feeling a burning sensation through the day and it reduces a bit in afternoon once I took Sporlac tabs.. now I do not have diarrhoea but are these side effects of these tabs.. please guide

To avoid this I would advise you to take medicines after food

hello Doctor,
the pain in the stomach starts as soon as I have the food.. as I said I had the lemon juice mixed with salt and sugar which gave a bit of relief.. please help...

Hello dear
This could be due to stomach ulcer or gastritis due to acid peptic disease

You may need anti acidity medicine like omeprazole group of drugs with antacids which is also available over the counter

You should avoid spicy and fried food
Smoking and alcohol to be given up
Yon can have curd or buttermilk and a glass of milk before going for bed

if it persists or gets worse than visit a gastroenterologist for an endoscopy for confirmation of diagnosis
