Suggest Treatment For Stinging Painful Bump In Pubic Area

default
Posted on Tue, 25 Aug 2015
Question: Hello,
I've concerned about this oddly shaped bump I've found in the crease of my inner thigh and pubic area, it appears to be skin colored with a red ring around it. it mildly stings. it appeared 2 days ago and I think it maybe a bug sting as I remember a sting like sensation when I was outdoors a few days ago in that region but I'm also extremely paranoid anytime I see a bump in that region. Another concern is I had swollen nodes but my doc wasn't concerned as they went down. I practice safe sex and have tested negatives for STDs last year. I'm hoping you can distinguish this from something minor or serious enough to have a dermo take a look. I have no other bumps like this

Brief Answer:
Possible Tinea Cruris.

Detailed Answer:
Hi Sir.

I have gone through your uploaded image.

This possibly looks like fungal infection,Tinea Cruris/RingWorm.

For this I advise you to take tab Terbinafine 250 mg PO once a day for 2 weeks.

This will clear all the rash.

Please take the drug under expert medical supervision.
