Suggest Treatment For Splinter Injuries On Arm And One Side Of Torso

Question: While in service I was working on a pole stringing wire. It was a creosote pole that probably been clum a hundred times. I gaped out at top of pole when starting down. I hugged the pole sliding down for a few feet then feel to the ground. I had splinters from end of finger to under arms and from my belt to neck. I couldn't bend even a finger.My under arms and stomach was black with splitter under neith the skin for years. I still pass splinters under my finger nails. I have a lot of medical problems over the years. Could some been caused from the creosote?

I have gone through your question and I understood your problem.
There are several side effects possible in cases of the exposure to the creosote. Stomach convulsions, stomach pain and burning in the mouth or a throat
Burning eye sensation can also be a result of contact between the eyes and creosote. Chemical burns on the same location may also be a result of this contact.
Skin rash and skin irritation may be a result of a brief contact with the creosote, which can also lead to mental confusion or convulsions. Respiratory tract irritation, cornea damage and increased light sensitivity can be created due to the longer exposure to creosote. Scrotum cancer and skin cancer are results of longer exposure to creosote.
I will further advice you to send me images of your splinters so that I can definitely tell you wheather they are from the same creosote exposure or not.

Thanks, I have one more question.I am a disable vetrean I draw 80 %. I do have a eye problem. My eye's are sentivity to light and have a lot of double vision.They have not pinpointed what is causing it. They water a lot. I have not tried to get any more diasbi;ty for this.I have never said anything to the doctor about the accident and splinters.I just read lately about the danger of cresote.Im sure the splinters I passed under nail would had to go through the blood stream.The accident happened in 1960.
Would it worth applying for more diasabilty for this ? Could this cause me more futher problems in the future?
