Brief Answer:
Pay a visit to spinal surgeon.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for writing to Health Care Magic, I am Dr Muhammd Ahmad, I have closely read your question and I understand your concerns, I will hereby guide you regarding your health related problem.

In my opinion more than kidney cysts, problem related to your son's symptoms is the spine problem. Here I would suggest you to visit a neuro spinal surgeon and get his opinion taken regarding possible treatment options.

Indeed pain killers are given according to pain management step ladder criteria and local injections of pain killers and steroids tend to play a role along with physiotherapy , but there is a limit to these teatments. Depending upon symptoms of the patient , current condition and severity of the problem surgery can be decided, these days it's quite advanced and carries lesser side effects.

So in my opinion best thing you can do is to visit a neurospinal surgeon regarding this problem and discuss the possible and most appropriate treatement options in this case scenario.

You can visit a urologist regarding kidney cysts but in my opinion visiting the Neurospinal surgeon should be first step taken

I hope this answered your question, if you have more feel free to ask, otherwise close the discussion and rate it.

Regards.
