Question: I am 72 did oral sex now have sore throat look for quick relief

Brief Answer: FAS-3-KIT; oral fluids; reassurance Detailed Answer: Hi there. Firstly, 72 is not an age that precludes having an active & good sex life & am happy that you are still up & about. The sore throat need not be attributed to an infection. It is more likely to be a 'dry' throat. However, in lieu of taking chances, please take a KIT called FAS-3-KIT available in India. Follow the instructions on the packet. There are 4 tablets in the pack that need to be taken after meals on a SINGLE day only (breakfast/lunch/dinner). This will take care of any superadded infection..bacterial or fungal or protozoal that may be present. Plenty of oral fluids goes without saying to 're-hydrate' yourself & an oral rinse with a mouth gargle like Tantum Verde (that contains a mild local anaesthetic) 15 mts prior to meals will help you 'swallow' better. Doctor, thanks - oral sex I did for a unknown well placed man not sure whether he has any infection. I find FAS-3-KIT related infection form vaginal fluid. Kindly advise.

Brief Answer: If sore throat still persists, go ahead Detailed Answer: Hey there. I hear what you are saying & get you. FAS-3-Kit covers pretty much a gamut of infections not necessarily related to vaginal secretions. This has been recommended precisely because we cannot pinpoint any specific infection if at all there is any. It has been 48 hrs since my first piece of advice. Thank you, before your reply I had been to ENT who gave me following medicine Zerodol-sp before lunch and dinner Loxof once a day I take in the afternoon Montair FX before bedtime Orasep mouth wash for gargling three days over I feel better, feel mild congestion but not back to my original state - I never had any cold or sore throat earlier that is why I got worried. Thanks Dr. Look forward for prompt answer, it appears the system has delivered your reply after 18 hours after you replied.

I do understand your anxiety given the unconfirmed STD status of your partner on this occasion. The mild congestion will take a few days to disappear.
