Question: Hi, I have a sore rash on my stomach that appears to be an infection due to shaving with very small blisters that are leaking clear yellow fluid. is it healing?

I have been treating it with witch XXXXXXX and tea tree oil and polysporin ointment and covering the area with a gauze. I just would like to know what is the infection called and am I taking the right steps in healing my rash? and also what are the signs of it healing? Its leaving a scar because the rash has become darker in appearance once the boils have drained? There seems to be pain scarring and swelling around my belly button.

It is secondarily due to fungal infection

The rash is secondarily to fungal infection of the skin.

I would suggest you the following
1 Keep the area clean and dry
2. Local application of combination of antifungal like Clotrimazole and steroid like Betamethasone will be helpful
