In most cases, oral ulcers are a result of any of the following:
+Consumption of hot beverages or food
+Consumption of acidic food or diet related
+Nutritional deficiency (e.g. vitamin B)
+Consumption of caustic substances
+Long gaps between meals
+As a result of an immunosuppressed state
+Side effect of medications
+Side effect of chemotherapy or radiotherapy
and a few others.
I would like to comment more accurately only after viewing the region, so I really look forward to hearing from you in order to help you further ma'am. :)
Best wishes.
Stress ulcer of nutritional deficiency
Detailed Answer:
Hello once again ma'am.
Seems to me like either:
1. A stress ulcer causing increased acidic regurgitation which can present with other symptoms like:
+Acid reflux
+Bitter taste in the mouth
+Regurgitation of food or liquid into the mouth
+Dry cough
+Sensation of something at the back of your throat
Please do write back to me if you have any of the above symptoms, so I can guide you further. Please also mention what your level of stress would be on a scale of 0 to 5, 0 being non-existent and 5 being extremely stressed
or
2. Nutritional deficiency requiring the initiation of vitamin B complex orally
I hope this helps. Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications, I would be more than happy to help.
Best wishes.
Gastroesophageal reflux disease is your culprit and diagnosis ma'am
Detailed Answer:
Hello once again ma'am.
If you do have a dry cough and a sensation of a lump at the back of your throat then my advise would be the following:
+Avoid spicy food
+Avoid alcohol
+Avoid smoking
+Drink plenty of water
+Avoid carbonated drinks
+Avoid tea and coffee
+Have 5-6 smaller meals instead of 2-3 larger ones
+Avoid fatty food
+Avoid oily food
+Avoid fried food
+Have 1 tablet of lansoprazole 30 mg, one tablet 15 minutes before breakfast everyday
+You can also take 1 tablet of ranitidine or omeprazole 15 minutes before each meal
+Avoid stress
You can take vitamin supplements, but it is better it is a vitamin B complex, please run it through me before initiating those. Your platelets should remain uninfluenced with the current condition that is called gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD).
I hope I have explained things in a manner best understood by you. Please do not hesitate to write back to me for any further clarifications, I am always here to help.
Best wishes.
