Question: Hi,
The last 2 days I have been suffering from red sore puffy eyes, and headaches, last night the one started to discharge a yellow substance and is still very painful behind the eyeball especially to touch. This morning the discharge is less just had to clean my eye out when I woke, they are both still puffy and the ones still sore and the headaches worse than ever, we thought it may be conjunctivitis but you don't get headaches. I have tried to book a doctors app but all are full booked today. Please help

Brief Answer:
This looks like conjunctivitis only.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Welcome to Health care magic

I am Dr Dadapeer k an ophthalmologist and I answer health problems related to eye.
I reviewed your history.
It seems from the history that you are having red sore puffy eyes with eye discharge and headache.

These symptoms of red, sore eyes with discharge most likely indicate conjunctivitis.
Headache is seen in severe conjunctivitis.

I would like to treat this condition by the use of topical antibiotic eye drops like Moxifloxacin eye drops used as frequently as one drop per one hour.

Along with this use of analgesic and pain killer tablets like Diclofenac will provide symptomatic relief.

If possible do send a photo of the affected eye so that I can advice you more accurately after confirming the diagnosis.

Hope I have answered your question and the information is helpful to you.
Do write back to me for further questions.

Thank you
With regards
