Brief Answer: It can be a a ligament injury Detailed Answer: Hello, It can be a soft tissue injury or a minor hairline fracture. Some time even a trivial fall. Have you done your fracture at that time. If not then i would recommend you to get a digital X ray of elbow, just to make sure that everything is normal in bone. You have to continue your physiotherapy and elbow exercises as you are doing. Also use hot water fomentation. Apart from that you should also apply Diclofenec ointment. Taking calcium and vitamin D3 will also help in faster recovery. If X ray was done previously and it was normal and symptoms are not improving then MRI has to be done to rule out that there is not any soft tissue or ligament injury.

Brief Answer: it may take 3 months and more Detailed Answer: Hi, Most ligament injuries heal after 3 to 6 weeks. Some time it can take 3 months. I would suggest you to apply a compression bandage to elbow in night so that your elbow should not move in wrong position. As I already suggested you take calcium for fast recovery.Let me know if I can answer any other question for you. It was my pleasure to help you.
