Posted on Tue, 19 Jul 2016
Question: I have had small bumps on my labia for a few months now but they arent itchy or painful. I recently found an slightly itchy lump on the inside of my labia, when i scratched it, it began bleeding and it has now nearly gone. Over the past few days Ive also been experiencing dull lower abdominal pain. Im worried that I may have contracted genital warts from unprotected sex i had around 8 months ago

Gynaecologist examination advised.

Detailed Answer:
hello and welcome to HCM Forum . thanks for writing in to us with your health query. o have gone through your query and understand your concerns. I have seen the pictures you sent us and it doesnot look like wart. although wart appears within 2-3 months of exposure but some times they can be a late finding. warts are not associated with abdominal pain. I will advise you to take a gynaecologist appointment to get a Pap smear . it would be advisable to use protection during sex. regards Dr Manisha Jain.
