Question: I am 91 years old male and I have trouble getting to sleep because I hear my pulse in my head

Hi,

I had gone through your question and understand your concerns that you are having troubled sleep due to sounds in head (tinnitus).


Based on your clinical details, it ( tinnitus) occurs to be due to sensorineural deafness secondary to aging.


I suggest you to consult ent surgeon, get detailed ent examination, audiometry ( to know type and degree of deafness). Treatment can be started as per the findings.
