Question: Having a heated argument with any of the colleagues hit me very hard in the mind and mind keeps on running and on a specific day, its difficult to sleep as well. problem is that I am not able to forget that I keep speaking to myself on imaginative situation. that makes me restless.

Well what you're experiencing is a quite common phenomenon, after this type of stressful event, don't worry too much , it'll pass soon..

Try to indulge in activities which interest you, keep your mind busy, go out with your friends, don't stay for longer duration indoor..go for some movies in the theater, listen to some music, go out for simple stroll at the park .. taking a cold water shower before bed time will help..

You don't need to wake up early for exercising, as you can simply work out in the evening too, starting from free hand exercises to jogging and even intense work-out at the gym..

Well since stroke's prevalent in your family then i'd advice you to get few investigations done i.e. Serum Vit B12, Vit D3, Homocysteine levels and electrolytes and schedule an appointment with a neurologist for a basic clinical evaluation to have a baseline idea about your current health status..

Meanwhile refrain from smoking and alcohol, if you do..stay well hydrated(drink 3-3.5 ltr of water per day)..avoid processed and packaged foods..
