Question: Every time my period come on I begin to sweat around my neck I'm 36 years old female I also have sleep apnea and I suffer from depression and anxiety

1 ) First of all do not panic.

2 ) I would like to know about few things.
Since when have you started this kind of sweating?
Do get any abdominal pain. or discomfort or any other symptoms before the onset of periods or during the periods?

3 ) As you have mentioned that you are on treatment for high blood pressure, are you having regular follow up with the physician for the same.?
Are you having any medications for your depression?

4 ) I will suggest you to get USG abdomen and pelvis done.

Please consult ENT surgeon for your sleep apnoea.

5 ) As on now, I will suggest you to opt for a healthy diet and regular exercise regimen. Include more portions of fruits, salads and vegetables in daily diet. Drink plenty of water in the day. Start on multi vitamin and multi mineral supplements on daily basis.

Also, I would like to suggest you to measure your body temperature when you start to get sweating.

I take Effexor for my depression and I also suffer from anxiety some of my family members suffer from thyroid disease my dad, sister , my two uncles and my grandmother do you think I'm at risk for that also

It is good to note that you do not get fever when yiu experience sweating .
It can be some neuro hormonal changes. May be long acting form of Vitamin B 6, vitamin E and evening primrose oil supplements on daily basis at least for next 3 months will be of help. Please seek prescription support from your treating doctor for getting the same.
