Suggest Treatment For Side Effects Of Cymbalta

Question: I have been on 90 mg of Cymbalta since March 2016 to treat my high anxiety issues. In the last month I have had several troublesome symptoms: foggy/buzzy head; headaches; muscle cramps; hands shaking; constant feeling like my stomach is full; heart palpitations; and now I'm starting to hear weird things (that aren't happening) - like paper tearing.
I have an appointment with my psychiatrist but am unable to see him for a few weeks. Should I pursue care elsewhere or reduce my medication? As a side note: about 10 years ago, I was using Effexor and I am convinced that a pituitary tumor developed from that drug as it reduced in size when I discontinued use.

90 mg cymbalta is high dose. All symptoms you mentioned can be side effects of cymbalata. If your vitals (blood pressure, pulse rate and breathing) are stable, no need to consult doctor. Omit dose for one day. Take tylenol and start with 60 mg cymbalta next day. If symptoms persist, stop taking the cymbalta and consult doctor for further management.
