Brief Answer:
NEED TO FIND HAPPINESS AND PEACE OF MIND

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX
Welcome to HCM
We understand your concerns

I went through your details. I also went through your previous queries and answers regarding. You are already diagnosed with anxiety and reflux problems. You are consuming medicines also for that.

Your symptoms are getting worsened due to two factors -
1. Stress
2.Hypothyroidism

You are already having medicines for hypothyroidism and hopefully it is under control. So all you need to do is to control stress and anxiety.
You have to continue taking the medications you have mentioned and Nexito LS is an SSRI antidepressant and may not be necessary.

Lifestyle and dietary changes are also important -

1. Avoid coffee, citrus, spicy/oily/fried/masala rich food
2. Avoid eating full stomach and eat smaller meals. Have garlic and ginger with your breakfast and lunch.
3. Avoid pain killer medications.

You are working. Working people are always stressed. You are not alone in this case. Then why are you feeling the stress much more than others? Do you think that the stress you face is much more than any other person on earth?

What you are supposed to know is about life. Stress and anxiety are part of life. Everyone are feeling it and are overcoming it. At the age of 54 you should have become wiser in the field of life. You have 50 years of experience. That itself is a confidence building factor.

You can follow relaxation techniques and breathing techniques which shall relax and sooth you. But all these psychotherapy techniques are over the basic foundation. The foundation is LIFE IS UNCERTAIN. WE NEED TO FIND HAPPINESS AND PEACE OF MIND. NOBODY ELSE CAN GIVE THESE TO YOU.

As the first step of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy I advice these:

1. Drink plenty of water
2. Whenever you sit idle, make it a practice to take deep breaths.
3. Include one tomato in your diet daily.
4. Exercise outdoor regularly.
5. Breathing for relaxation - This breathing technique has to be done at least once a day, if possible two- Sit in a calm place comfortably. Close your eyes. Keep both your hands on your thighs. Relax. Start breathing deep (not deep enough to hurt you). Exhale 1.2.3.4. hold 1.2. Inhale 1.2.3.4. hold 1.2. Try to see the movements on and in your body. Breathing, heart beat, what ever. Don't try hard to concentrate. If the mind wanders away, gently bring it back and watch the breath. Continue for around 20 minutes and open your eyes.

Don't think about the possible effects of this breathing techniques. You shall have positive effects within 15 days and you shall be aware of it.

6. You are worried about your health much. That is the basic cause of all these anxiety. You are obsessed with health related thoughts. Easiest way is to ignore such thoughts. For that you need to believe in god. According to Hindu god XXXXXXX god created you and shall take care of you. LET GOD TAKE CARE OF YOU.
Whatever you worry, however you worry, what is supposed to happen shall happen. But we can pray and god helps you to keep yourself calm when that happens. That is life.

Lifestyle and dietary changes are also important -

1. Avoid coffee, citrus, spicy/oily/fried/masala food
2. Avoid eating full stomach and eat smaller meals
3. Avoid pain killer medications

Take these steps and strictly follow them for a week or so and then ask the follow up query. One week is to see whether you have any changes or not. If you feel you want to ask follow up question immediately, you can also do that.

Hope this answers your query. Available for further clarifications.
Good luck.

Brief Answer:
Banana is good, but not lemon

Detailed Answer:
Dear
Thank you for the follow up query.
I am sorry to say that you should be avoiding citrus fruits. So Lemon is strictly NO.
But banana is a good option to cure acidity. Banana also has a good potassium content which should help in maintaining your hypertension. Banana is also good for dieting people. Also include water melon, cucumber and tender coconut juice.

Follow the diet and instructions I gave. Come back after around 15 days and give me a feed back. According to your feed back, we shall proceed further treatment.

Good luck.
God bless you.
