Question: I have been having constant pain in my right side under my rib cage going around to my back for 3 days now and it doesn't let up just wandering if it could be my gallbladder. 2 weeks ago I was up all night vomiting for 7 hours straight just wandering what I should do.

Brief Answer:
Visit a doctor and get yourself evaluated.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on healthcaremagic.

I have gone through your query and understand your concerns. The gall bladder is located in the right side just below the border of rib cage in the front. The liver is located there as well. The pain indeed has a possibility of being due to gall bladder cause and the association of vomiting speaks in its favor. There are also other possible causes like costochondritis. You need to be investigated. An ultrasonogram of the upper abdomen can help in confirming. Based on the findings suitable treatment can be instituted. You need to visit a doctor and get yourself evaluated. You can do so after getting the ultrasonogram done. But I would not insist you to ignore it..
