Brief Answer:
Proper assessment of the case/ doctor's help & self care would help.

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Thanks for the query. I understand your concern.
Your Blood pressure was reduced after taking Tablet Alprax.. It is an anxiolytic. . this suggests That your pain & blood pressure were due to anxiety. The cause of pain does not seem to be due to blood pressure.
Neck pains are caused by -
A) - Stress/ strain/ anxiety,
- Sprain.. wrong posture/ stress./ over use.
- refereed from upper back pain
B)cervical spinal problem/ disc prolapse .. with pinched nerve..( where it is associated with numbness/ spams of supplied muscles... which you don't have)
C) Trauma/ fall... You do not have a history.
D ) infection of abscess behind pharynx/ epiglottis.( have pain with signs of inflammation/ fever.. which are absent in your case )
* Looking of your information, with no other specific symptoms, you seem to have the pain due to simple sprain
- Though apparently blood pressure does not seem to be the cause.( 130/ 100 single reading is not diagnostic/ the probable cause of pain by blood pressure is very rare with the range of BP you had. ) I would advise to consult a physician. & get satisfied.
* Management
In this context I would advise you to consult your family physician to assess you case. He may get repeated readings of your blood pressure/ X ray spine to exclude/ confirm the cause of your pain. .
He will offer you medications with Muscle relaxant & anti inflammatory drugs./ local ointment of muscle relaxants./ Physiotherapy.
In case he feel necessary , he may refer you to relevant specialist for specified management. .
Self care-
- Rest/ hot fomentation/ mild massage with muscle relaxant ointment
- Medication as per advise.
- Avoid psychological stress/ over use of the part.
I hope you found the answer both helpful & informative.Any follow up query is welcome.
Thanks.
