Question: My husband has sever gout. This attack has lasted 2 weeks on medicine. It has never lasted this long and is now in both feet. Can you tell me what type of specialty Physician
we should look for that treats Gout. We are in XXXXXXX

Well you need to be in touch with a good rheumatologist for this issue. I have gone through the medications that you have been prescribed , they are fine.

If you had been prescribed colchicine it would have been better or a small course of steroids would have sufficed but that depends on your treating doctor .
