Brief Answer:
Avoid advil. May take gas x. Pantoprazole /esomeprazole (40mg) preffered

Detailed Answer:
Hello, I am Dr Mody and I would be addressing your concern.
Firstly Are the symptoms after a bad meal somewhere (you ate out in last 2 days or something Chinese, XXXXXXX or daily products in food) and hoping she has no history of hypertension, diabetes or any heart problem.

I would suggest that she follows the following advice .

Sir advil is a pain killers (ibuprofen) , It should be completely avoided as it will increase indigestion and stomach ache exponentially.
.
May take gas x before meals

Tab pantoprazole (PAN /pantocid) 40 mg of esomeprazole (neksium) 40 mg or anything similar to be taken 15 mins before breakfast, continue it for a week and tab omdansatron (emset) 8mg if nausea / vomiting occurs . Both should be available over the counter.

If there is vomiting Maintaining hydration is important, so oral rehydration solution, or home liquids with electrolytes should be continously offered as soon as she is able to retain any food.

If the vomiting is having blood, no nausea before a bout of vomiting, ideally consult a local doctor.

If you have a blood pressure machine at home, measure BP, if too high or too low in both circumstances inform me or tour local doctor.

Very rarely pacemaker malfunction can cause hiccups, so that's a prominent symptom may get and ekg done.
