Suggest Treatment For Severe Ear Pain

Question: Hi,

I am having ear ache if I spend long hours in AC. In some time it increases towards neck.

Please let me know if this is a major problem and I should visit doctor? or if this is common issue please suggest medication.

Hi Mam,
I have gone through your question and understand your worry and concern; it suggests that most probably may be due to the referred otalgia. This referred pain may be due to the cervical spondylosis.

But to rule out the other disease; I would like to suggest that you may go for
1. X ray cervical spine
2. Otoscopic examination of the ear.

This is not the common issue, consult your doctor and discuss above mentioned tests.
