I have a very bad dandruff. it's been der for more than. year now. goooodu much flaky and very itchy.. taken lot of medication and used many products and shampoo but did not work used ketokonezol shampoo too no use. can you please suggest

Hi,
If I're your treating doctor, I would recommend you to use Ciclopirox olamine shampoo twice weekly and apply lotion containing combination of Beclomethasone and Clotrimazole on the affected areas of the scalp twice daily for 2-3 weeks.
Once the dandruff gets reduce you can taper off the lotion but shampoo needs to be continued for a long time as dandruff is a chronic disease and can recur.
In severe cases of dandruff I also recommend my patients to take antifungal medicines like capsule Itraconazole 100 mg twice daily for 2 weeks and tablet Levocetirizine 5 mg once daily at bedtime to take care of itching.
These all are prescription drugs and you need to see the doctor in person to get them.
