Brief Answer:
Salbid plus is a cough preparation

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Thanks for writing in to us.

I have read through your query in detail.
Medication SALBID PLUS syrup contains ambroxol hydrochloride 30 mg, guaiphenesin 100 mg, terbutaline sulphate 2.5 mg/10 mL. This is a cough preparation and can be given to children as per dose prescribed. Please follow dosage as told by your doctors. For a 2 years old child it should be given 2.5 ml three times a day.

Medication KIDPRED syrup is prednisolone which is a steroid preparation. This should be given only after asking the doctor because of its side effects.

Since your child is 2 years old, please consult a pediatrician if his cough is not improving after giving SALBID PLUS.

Hope this answers your question. Please feel free to correct any oversight in my interpretation of your problems and discuss them in detail as per your requirements.

Hope your query is answered.
Do write back if you have any doubts.

Regards,
Dr.Vivek
