Following advice...

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX

I am sorry for the health situation your husband is going through.

1. There might be various causes to constipation including:
- diet: you are saying that he is having regular diets; what specifically he is using?
- medications he might be using especially when it comes to antibiotics
- lack of physical activity

2. Isabgol powder contains psyllium which is a fiber supplement. It will gradually help form the fecal mass and improve bowel movements (bm).

3. For a quicker bm, I advise to:
- take senna supplement as laxative options
- lactulose to soften the stool
- anal enema
- increase water intake
- eat more prunes, kiwi, pear, etc.
- avoid foods that would trigger/aggravate constipation: banana, yogurt, etc.

Hope it was of help!
