Question: As I'm sure you can tell from my previous questions I've had a lot of chest pain, but now I'm having it like never before...its a very sharp pain right on the upper part of my left breast and a little above, it just started out of nowhere and I'm not sure if it can be heart related even though I've already had tons of tests or if I shouldn't worry.

Detailed Answer:
Hello Dear

I have read the medical query raised by you, i would also like to tell you that i have gone through you previous CT angio reports which you have posted earlier this month.

As your Calcium score was 3 which is almost negligible so the possibility of having a cardiac disease is near negligible. So first of all dont panic try to calm yourself down.

Here i would like to ask few things
1. Do you have any breathing difficulty while having this pain?
2. Did you manipulated any heavy object recently?
3. Did you have any sweating with chest pain?
4. Did you get stressed out or anxious very quickly?
5. When the pain started what were you doing?
6. Do you smoke ?
7. Is there any pain radiation to some other part of the body?

In first impression taking into consideration all your previous test reports, it does not seems like a cardiac pain, its probably your anxiety related.

In my advise you should start practicing MEDITATION/YOGA as this will help you combat your stress, anxiety, depression and emotional disturbances.

I hope this information will be helpful. Feel free to ask back if you have any more queries.

Kind Regards

1. Do you have any breathing difficulty while having this pain?no
2. Did you manipulated any heavy object recently?no
3. Did you have any sweating with chest pain?yes, but I sweat every time I have anxiety.
4. Did you get stressed out or anxious very quickly? yes
5. When the pain started what were you doing?sitting
6. Do you smoke ?No
7. Is there any pain radiation to some other part of the body? I can pretty much pin point it

I understand that it's not lonely that it's cardiac, but how can i be sure, what other possible tests can i get to be sure so I no longer need to worry.

I also would like to know if i should be concerned since my ct angio as you seen, stated results were limited due to poor timing of contrast.

Brief Answer:
Hello Again

Detailed Answer:
Maam as you have undergone Coronary CT angiogram which is a very valuable test for detection of any coronary artery disease and it came out to be normal in your case thats the proof for not being getting worried for an coronary artery disease.

Also there are no risk factors for heart disease in your case like you dont smoke, you pain is very localised, and you are quite young.

Considering these facts you can rest assured that there is no heart issue with you.

No you should not be concerned for contrast thing as your CT Angio report was fairly satisfactory. And you need not go for any other tests.

Kind Regards
Dr Bhanu Partap
