Suggest Treatment For Severe Bronchial Congestion After Smoking Cocaine

default
Posted on Tue, 2 Sep 2014
Question: I have a college student that is suffering from sinus problems and bronchial congestion. She has not been able to overcome these problems even after taking several antibiotic prescriptions over the past year. At first I was chalking it up to being in a dorm filled with dust and mold. However, after being home for the summer and moving into a house she still has not recovered. I suspect that her smoking and use of cocaine could be causing problems. I don't know if she smokes the cocaine or insulfates. How do I address this and get her well? Could drug use be a problem?

Brief Answer:
Most definitely

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking
Drug use is most definitely the cause as cocaine snorting irritates nasal mucosa and cause severe inflammation involving sinus and remains unless the stimulus is relieved.also nasal anatomical deformities like deviated septa need to be ruled out too but with no allergies or asthma history the only notorious stimulus I can think of here is the drugs. Better be safe.antibiotics and medications help if there is no more damage. Which your case is.
Get to an endocrinologist and let them decide what is best.
I hope it helps. Take good care of yourself and your friend and don't forget to close the discussion please.
May the odds be ever in your favour.
